This March, Ynvisible further strengthened its collaboration with the Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE). RISE is a global leader in Printed Electronics R&D, with more than 20 years of experience developing printed electrochromic (EC) e-paper displays for a wide range of applications.
RISE and Ynvisible share a joint vision of printed sustainable EC displays forming a vital part of the global landscape for signage, labels and visual indicators of different types, and both partners see Ynvisible prospering and growing into a leading player in the display industry. RISE is the leading research and technology partner for Ynvisible and Ynvisible is the go-to-market partner for RISE with respect to their printed EC display technology.
By securing an exclusive worldwide license to their patent portfolio around printed EC displays, Ynvisible has deepen the partnership with RISE, which will also facilitate access to other cutting edge printed electronics technologies developed at RISE, such as sustainable batteries and sensors, to deliver even higher value e-paper products.
RISE has been a key technology partner for Ynvisible for the past 4 years, and the new agreement broadens and deepens Ynvisible’s access to and utilization of RISE’s intellectual property portfolio around printed e-paper technologies. At the same time, RISE’s customers can work with Ynvisible to bring their printed electronics, and especially EC display-related developments, into high volume production for commercial uses.
Strengthening the partnership with RISE is a strategic move, that comes as a consequence of Ynvisible’s commitment to provide innovative, cost-effective, sustainable e-paper based solutions to the market, in applications such as smart indicators and digital signage.
