Ramin Heydarpour has over 35 years of experience in product development in various applications, including liquid packaging, RFID tags, and heat transfer labels. His experience is an asset as Ynvisible is shifting from Research and Development to commercializing Ynvisible’s e-paper. Ramin is also the Founder and Managing Partner of FLEX R&D, an Engineering Consulting firm specializing in product development for Packaging, Flexible Electronics, Brand Identification and Decoration.
Inês Henriques is a co-founder, Director and Executive VP People, Culture and Corporate Affairs of Ynvisible. She was the CEO of Ynvisible from the creation of the company to the closing of the RTO transaction with Ynvisible Interactive Inc. in January 2018. She led the founding of the company, designed the organization of the new commercial entity, was responsible for building a highly competent team and was also actively involved in the development of the company’s core IP portfolio and in establishing Ynvisible’s first manufacturing partnership and wider partner networks. As a COO, she led operations, people and finance after the RTO. In her current role, she is deeply involved in the development and retention of our high performance team, as well as in promoting a culture of integrity, team work, agility and resilience. She has a degree in Environmental Engineering from the New University of Lisbon and a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech.
Lúcia Gomes is the COO of Ynvisible. Lúcia has over 15 years of experience in research, technology and product development. Before joining Ynvisible in 2010, Lúcia worked in thin film research and in the photovoltaics industry. She joined Ynvisible as a researcher and has been deeply involved in technology and product development of Ynvisible’s E-paper ever since. Lúcia became a Project Manager in 2014 and the Director of Development and Prototyping in 2021, effectively becoming operationally responsible for Ynvisible’s Customer Solutions Center. Her contribution has been instrumental in the growth of the organization, enhancing coordination and team efficiency, and in the commercialization efforts of Ynvisible’s E-paper displays. She has an M.Sc. in Materials Science Engineering from NOVA School of Science and Technology in Portugal and is the author of several scientific papers and patents.
Carlos Pinheiro is the CTO of Ynvisible. With a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Nova University of Lisbon, he brings a wealth of expertise and innovation to the table. His academic journey introduced him to the intricate world of functional materials and printing, laying a strong foundation for his future endeavors. His passion for pushing boundaries led him to co-found Ynvisible, a pioneering company at the forefront of electrochromic technology. Over a span of 14 years, he served as a driving force behind the company's technological and product advancements. In this role, he managed diverse projects, including contract research for global brands, and spearheaded large-scale R&D initiatives, securing funding for our innovations in electrochromic technology.Throughout his tenure, he cultivated Ynvisible's technical network, fostering valuable partnerships with renowned research institutions and experts in the field of printed electronics. As Ynvisible's Chief Technology Officer, he oversees the technical content of our patent portfolio and drive all scientific and technical activities within the company, ensuring our continued leadership in the field.
Darren Urquhart is a chartered professional accountant with more than 15 years of experience working in both public practice and industry. Mr. Urquhart obtained his chartered accountant designation in 2001 and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia (CPABC).
