António Câmara
President
António Câmara is a Professor at Universidade Nova de Lisboa and has been a Visiting Professor at both Cornell University (1988-89) and MIT (1998-99).
He was a Senior Consultant to the Expo98 project and a Senior Advisor to the National Geographical Information System. He has been YDreams' CEO and Chairman of the Board since the parent company was founded, and is currently Ynvisible's President.
Inês Henriques
CEO
Inês Henriques is Ynvisible's CEO. From 2007 to 2010, Inês led the research initiative at YDreams which has given way to Ynvisible. She has a degree in Environmental Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a PhD in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech. She authored several scientific papers and patents, and received several awards for her research and academic achievements.
Jani-Mikael Kuusisto
Chief Business Development Officer
From 2007 to 2011 Jani-Mikael was the business development manager for VTT Printed Intelligence, and the director of its commercialization program. Prior to VTT, he was responsible for printed electronics business development at Metso Corporation and its spin-out/joint-venture AvantoneOy. Jani-Mikael received his M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from the Helsinki School of Economics.
Carlos Pinheiro
Chief Technology Officer
Carlos served as Ynvisible’s R&D Director in 2010. His work with YDreams as a Chemistry Researcher, since 2004, was dedicated to R&D of chromogenic systems for interactive applications. His PhD in Chemistry, a joint PhD between YDreams and Univ. Nova de Lisboa, was crucial for the development of Ynvisible’s electrochromic technology. He is the author of several scientific papers and patents.
Ana Marques
R&D Director
Ana is Ynvisble's R&D Director. She has extensive experience in international R&D projects in both the academic and industrial fields, and has published numerous papers, book chapters and patents. Ana obtained her PhD from Instituto Superior Técnico in Materials Engineering and a Post-Doc at Lehigh University, before joining Dow Corning in Belgium, where she worked as an R&D Chemist for 3 years.
Sofia Martins
Project Manager
Sofia is the lead project manager for Ynvisible. With post graduate studies in International Commercial Law, Sofia has been with parent company YDreams since 2007. Previously, Sofia worked for Hovione FarmaCiência S.A., and before that as a researcher for projects that combined social sciences data and GIS platforms.
Cláudia Costa
Senior Researcher
Claudia is part of Ynvisible's R&D team as a Senior Researcher. With a solid academic background in Chemistry from Universidade do Minho and a PhD on Physical Chemistry from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Claudia has been working with YDreams since 2007, as part of the research initiative which has given way to Ynvisible. Claudia is the author of several scientific papers and patents.
Manuel Câmara
New Products Manager
Manuel has a degree in Economics from the Nova School of Business and Economics and an MSc in Management from the University of Bath, in the UK. Prior to joining Ynvisible he has worked in the fields of financial journalism, equity research, fundraising consulting and market research. He also has a professional degree in Multimedia awarded by ETIC (Escola Técnica de Imagem e Comunicação).
Pedro Bento
Senior Designer
Pedro has a degree in Communication Design from IADE (School of Design, Marketing and Advertising) and a specialized degree in Web Design from FLAG. Before joining Ynvisible he had several professional experiences in Design from print to digital. His career has been characterized a diversity of experiences from EURO RSCG to the City Council of Alter do Chão.
Aida Branco
Researcher
Before joining Ynvisible, Aida worked with the Photochemistry and Supramolecular Chemistry Group from Univ. Nova de Lisboa, where she studied the electrochemical characterization of chromogenic materials. Aida has a degree in Chemistry and a M.S. in Analytical Chemistry & Quality Control from Univ. de Aveiro. She is the author of several articles and a patent on chromogenic materials.
João Ricardo
Researcher
João has a degree in Technological Chemistry from Universidade de Lisboa. Before joining Ynvisible as a Researcher, he collaborated with the National Civil Engineering Laboratory on a European project named ‘MEDACHS’, and was a Quality Control Technician at Portuguese cement and concrete manufacturer SECIL. João is concluding his PhD in Mechanics & Engineering from Université de Bordeaux.
Lucia Gomes
Researcher
Lucia has a degree in Materials Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and has worked at the Center of Excellence in Microelectronics, Optoelectronics and Processes (CEMOP), on the production and development of thin films using different techniques. She has also worked in the industry sector developing new products at an amorphous silicon-based photovoltaic panel industry.
Adriano Campos
Electronics Engineer
Adriano has a degree in Electronics and Computers Networks Engineering from Instituto Politécnico de Viana do Castelo and a MSc degree in Automation and Communications in Power Systems from Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Coimbra. Before joining Ynvisible as an Electronics Engineer, he worked in R&D at Guimocircuito, Exatronic and Pecplus, and as an Automation Engineer at Amob.
André Leitão
Electronics Engineer
André concluded his MSc degree in Electronic Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico in 2011. He spent his last year as a student focusing on his thesis which was related to Electronic Instrumentation. Before joining Ynvisible as an Electronics Researcher, he worked for several months in R&D at Micronorma in the fields of high voltage electronic circuits and industrial equipment.
Soraia Assunção
Lab Technician
Soraia has been working as a Lab Technician and Analyst at a High School in the Lisbon area since 2009. Shortly before joining Ynvisible, she received a six month scholarship from Universidade Nova de Lisboa to pursue her work as a Lab Technician at the university.
